REPORTING REQUIREMENT FOR CHANGES OF ADDRESS

Please be aware that all non-U.S. citizens in the United States, irrespective of age, must report any changes of address to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") within 10 days of such change on Form AR-11, or Form AR-11SR if subject to special registration requirements. In addition, an applicant for naturalization must also file Form AR-11 AND telephone the National Customer Service Center (1-800-375-5283) to advise that office of the change of address.

Moreover, applicants and petitioners for any other benefit should file a Form AR-11 or Form AR-11SR AND notify in writing the office or Service Center processing the case of any change of address AND call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 to inform them of the change of address.

Information regarding these requirements and the applicable forms (Form AR-11 or Form AR-11SR) may be obtained at the USCIS web site: http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm

Please make sure to notify USCIS of any changes of address, as required by law. We recommend that the required form be sent by certified mail and that you retain a copy of the completed form along with the certified mail receipt for your personal records. The completed form should be mailed as follows:

Immigration Services

A willful failure to give written notice to USCIS of a change of address within 10 days of the change is a misdemeanor crime. If convicted, the alien (or parent or legal guardian of an alien under age 14 who is required to give notice) can be fined up to $200 or imprisoned up to 30 days or both. The alien may also be subject to removal from the United States. Compliance with the requirement to notify USCIS of any address changes is also a condition of an alien's stay in the United States. Failure to comply could also jeopardize the alien's ability to obtain a future visa or other immigration benefit.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this very important matter.
